Great , as usual ! 3-7,I was playing the extremely. Almost belligerent exciting Other One ( on that AUD you can really hear Phil rip the crowd a new one !)For a friend of mine . He turned to me and said,"we never heard THIS band..." . I can see how older Heads, miss the energy and power of the earlier band, even compared to great, mid-late 70's shows ( were I got on).
3-17. You guess may be correct that the concert may not have gone all that well, as the reason for the silence from Phil . These sort of "cross-cultural" experiments , sometimes sound good on paper, but don't often go well in reality . As you mention in reviews of some of these AUDs , there were often people who decided to talk , when the music gets quit ( how I love shows where during a "Morning Dew" or "Stella", people shut up ). I wonder how fans would have felt about all this modern Classical music, especiallly if it didn't gel . Still, would LOVE to hear it .
